Abstract

Aim of the work: To evaluate the histopathological alterations and immuno-histochemical pattern in chronic Toxoplasma gondii infection, and to evaluate the role aminoguanidine in experimental toxoplasmosis.

Subjects and methods: This study was carried out on 48 laboratory-bred male Swiss albino mice which were divided into 4 groups (non-infected control; infected control; infected and treated with spiramycin; infected and treated with aminoguanidine).
