Zagazig University Medical Journal (ZUMJ) is a monthly, open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed medical journal. It publishes high-quality clinical and basic medical research, as well as other scholarly manuscripts covering all areas of medical sciences.
ZUMJ accepts submissions from all over the world, with a special focus on research that is of interest to readers in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. The journal is committed to facilitating the exchange of the most recent and up-to-date medical knowledge on a global scale.
ZUMJ is the official publication of the Faculty of Medicine, Zagazig University, Egypt, and has been in continuous publication since 1977.
Articles published online as Articles in Press are considered officially published and may be cited using their DOI as the source of reference.
ZUMJ maintains a strict policy against plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening using professional plagiarism-detection software. Submissions with an unacceptable similarity index due to plagiarism are immediately rejected.
