Aim of the work : compare the effectivenss and duration of combining PRP with hyaluronic acid versus PRP alone in relieving pain with KOA. Patient and method : After approval of our ethical committee , 100 patients were referred to pain clinic unit at Zagazig university hospital they were clinically and radiologically diagnosed with KOA grade 3 according to the Kellgren-Lawrence classification between January 2018 to January 2020 , patients were divided into two groups; ( I) :50 patients injected by intra-articular (PRP) and hyaluronic acid( HA), ( II) :50 patients injected by intra-articular PRP only. patients were evaluated using the Knee Society Scoring System (KSS) and the Visual Analog Score (VAS) scoring system before treatment and at one month, three , six, twelve and eighteen months after treatment.
